“We have been regularly attending for less than 6 months and in that short time I have watched my 8 year old bloom in more ways I could imagine!”

FOUNDATIONS OF JIU-JITSU
A structured beginner program designed to help first-time students build confidence and understanding.
Our 24-lesson Foundations curriculum teaches essential positions, safe movement patterns, self-defense principles, and core grappling concepts like balance, leverage, and control. Students train in both Gi and No-gi while building confidence before transitioning into our broader program.
“By far the best introduction I could have asked for to the sport.”
- Stacy S, Google Review (5-Star)
ADULT JIU-JITSU
Develop mastery and individuality in your Jiu-Jitsu.
Jiu-Jitsu has evolved far beyond a single style. At LŌKAHI, our Adult program blends wrestling takedowns, judo foot sweeps, guard systems, passing, submissions, and positional strategy into a complete grappling experience.
Through clear instruction, positional games, and live rounds, students sharpen their existing strengths while developing a more complete understanding of their personal style.
”Truly the best. I’ve been to 7 different schools now and this one is easily my favorite.”
- Charles M, Google Review (5-Star)

ADULT Classes are open to Collective Members of all ranks, however beginning practitioners must be a 2-stripe white belt to attend unless a previous exception was made.
COLLECTIVE MEMBER OPEN MATS
Collective Member Open Mats are the best way to spend a holiday or day off work! We typically hold these on days without classes (Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc), providing a fun environment where practitioners can drill, practice, and roll with each other. Students from other academies may also attend with a drop-in fee.
The best train in Omaha since 2022 (in our humble opinion) and our way of giving back to the grappling community. Each Sunday, we gladly welcome individuals from any gym and affiliation to train at NO COST. Just be cool and help keep our gym clean.
*New Attendees who have not previously completed a waiver must arrive before 11:00am.
COMMUNITY OPEN MATS
“Visiting from out of town and had a great experience! High quality instruction. Technical and safe training partners. Clean and aesthetic interior. Planning to drop in during my next trip to town. Recommend for anyone in the Omaha area!!”
- Michael R, Google Review (5-Star)
